Dear Colleagues,

During its meeting in Lisbon, the CMS Collaboration Board endorsed the composition of the CMS Career Committee. Its members represent a wide range of CMS regions and stages in a typical career. The composition is balanced in gender. The committee members are listed on our CMS website at the following link:

The committee had its first meeting on the 30th of October. The agenda as well as the minutes of this and forthcoming meetings are visible to all via the following indico page:

The committee decided to create a total of four themed working groups:

(1) Networking with CMS alumni and to the non-academic job market in general,
(2) Collecting and providing information on academic jobs,
(3) Reflecting on the recognition of individual achievements,
(4) Organizing information sessions on career related topics.

Together with the committee members, we aim to provide useful information, tools and connections to enhance the careers of the members of the CMS collaboration.
